My background

Personal Profile

Creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I loved drawing—mainly what my mum called "stick-man battles." As I grew, my passion for art flourished, leading me to excel in school and participate in local and national art competitions.

In secondary school, my interest in design expanded beyond art into technology. I thrived in Art and Design & Technology (DT), ultimately choosing DT as a GCSE subject, where I achieved a B.

For my A-levels, I pursued Media Studies and History, alongside a BTEC in Criminology, broadening my understanding of storytelling, design, and human behaviour.

At university, I found the perfect fit in the Digital Media Design course—a program that allows me to refine my creative skills, explore new technologies, and push the boundaries of digital design.

Recommendation

EPLS. Design

It was a pleasure having Rob join us for his work placement in 2025 whilst studying at Winchester University. Throughout his time with us he demonstrated a great deal of enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine willingness to learn. Approaching every task with a positive attitude, Rob showed a real initiative in getting involved with different projects and aspects of the studio.

While still developing his technical and creative skills, he consistently sought feedback and applied it thoughtfully. Gaining a clear understanding of the design process within a studio environment.  He continued this relationship with us once his placement had ended, often popping in to show us what he was working on giving him an opportunity to review and further develop his course work.

We really appreciated the fresh perspective he brought to the studio. With continued experience and guidance, we’re confident Rob will keep progressing and find his own voice as a designer. We wish him all the best in his future professional development.
